Spring 1 Plants and Animals
This half term we will be learning about the Plants and animals that we may find in different habitats including those found in our gardens.
We have read the story of Farmer Duck and used picture maps and actions to retell the familiar pattern of the story.
We have also been reading the story of Jack and the Bean stalk and acting parts out in our small world area. We have been using our maths skills to measure leaves and bean stalks and our literacy skills to retell and write the story. We have planted our own runner bean seeds and we are watching them grow daily.

World Book Day in Class 1
Thank you to all of Class One (and parents) for taking part. You all looked brilliant in your costumes; including Harry Potter, Princess Elsa and the Tiger from the Tiger who came to Tea. We had a great day sharing stories we enjoy and exploring new ones.
