PE: Tuesday & Wednesday

Please wear your PE kit to school on these days!

Healthy Snack:

Please make sure you bring fruit or vegetables and a water bottle every day.

Also please make sure that any grapes are cut down the length to avoid choking.

Jumpers and Coats:

Please make sure that your child's name is in every jumper and coat, so that we can make sure that they get the right jumper/coat at the end of the day.

Blue Book Bags

Every Friday your child will come home with their blue  reading book bag with their reading book and homework. Please hear your child read and encourage them to complete their homework. Please then return them on Monday morning so we  can hear your child read in the week.

Summer Term

This term we have been covering our STEM curriculum. We have been investigating and researching animals and their habitats in the local area and what they need to survive.

Spring Term

This term we have been storytelling and creatively retelling Welsh Tales and Myths. 

We have had a visit from Mr Urdd and we are now world record holders as we took part singing 'Hei Mr Urdd' to celebrate the Urdd's 100th Birthday.  

Eisteddfod 2022

Year 2 and Year 3 decided this year to have their own Eisteddfod to celebrate our learning from this term.  Each class competed in a handwriting, art, poetry recital and dancing competition.

We had a great day, here are our winners from Class 2 from the art and handwriting competitions, along with a few other photos from the day.

Autumn Term

The focus for our learning this term is "What Makes ME Special?" linked to the story "The Koala Who Could" by Rachel Bright.

Week beginning:- 6th September

This week has been about settling into our new class and getting to know each other. We have chose our class needs and the rights of the child along with thinking about why our bodies are special to name just a few things. It's been a great start to the new year.
