Important Reminders

PE Days  

Indoor PE - Monday

Outdoor PE - Wednesday

*Please can children bring PE kit in a bag to change in school - they will need joggers/shorts, t-shirt, jumper and trainers*

Healthy Snack

Children need to bring a piece of fruit or vegetables (no nuts) every day to school and a bottle of water.

No squash is allowed as part of the child's snack.

Uniform

Children should wear school uniform every day to school.  Coats need to be brought daily - even if it is Sunny in the Please label your children's clothes with their name.

Homework 

Maths and Spellings will be sent home on a Friday and need to be returned on a  Monday. 

Reading books will also go home on a Friday, please make sure you read with your child and write in their reading diary.

Spring 1 Inquiry 

Big Idea - Identity 

Central Idea - The cultures and beliefs of our community enrich who we are.

During this inquiry the children will be developing their understanding of how all people have different beliefs, opinions and ideas.  The children will be building up their skills of tolerance, respect and equality.  We will be exploring our local community and explaining how

we prepare for important celebrations that are within our identity. 

During our Immersion day the children dressed up in their cultural clothing as we explored that our community is made up of different beliefs, values, opinions and ideas.  It was a great day where the children celebrated their uniqueness and identity.  

Our Inquiry
Our Big Idea - Peace

This term our big idea in our Inquiry is Peace.  The children will have access to a variety of learning opportunities to explore their emotions, develop empathy, engage with relationships within our school community and develop key skills to resolving conflict within the school environment.
